Staying Humble To Your Growth
This concept is new to me, and forced me to really look at myself in order to answer the obvious question; 'are you really ready for what you are asking for?' For as long as I can remember, I've always been encouraged to pray for whatever it is I need, or to speak my wants into the universe - 'ask and you shall receive.' But, although those uplifting words are often coming from a good place; how often is that preceded by an invitation to check as to whether you are really in the right place to receive the blessings you desire? My experience is that the frequency is pretty much non existent. Looking back, I can recall a number of things that I longed for in the past, and honestly...I was not ready for what those blessings required in order to be a positive experience.
